Graduating in 1979 Chris worked for the MoD(Navy), Volvo, Thorn EMI (as Head of Information Management), Readers Digest Inc (as UK CIO), and Coopers and Lybrand Management Consultancy where he established and ran the International Data Management practice. Joining IPL in 1997 he ran major international Information management projects including the largest Data Management strategy undertaken in Europe. Chris heads IPL’s Business Consultancy practice and is advising several commercial and public sector clients on Business Process and Information Asset Management. Shaun DaveyShaun joined IPL in 1984 after completing a PhD in computer control at the University of Bath. During the 1980's Shaun worked on a number of major software projects in the Defence, Energy and Utilities sectors. He became a member of IPL's executive management team in 1990 when he was appointed as IPL's Software Technology Manager. Shaun played a major role in the development of IPL's software testing products business and was responsible for the development of the company's QMS and supporting infrastructure. He has been responsible for the management and successful delivery of several of IPL's largest software projects. In 2005 Shaun became Sales and Marketing Director and was responsible for rebuilding the company's sales function and starting IPL's transformation into a sales-led company. He was instrumental in IPL's successful 2008 MBO and as a result is now CEO. Shaun is totally committed to driving the business to deliver its potential. Howard DavisHoward Davis is the NHS Benchmarking Manager at the Audit Commission where he oversees the technical aspects of the PbR Data Assurance Framework – a national data quality audit programme that checks the accuracy of the hospital activity data underpinning payments. As part of his role, Howard is responsible for the Commission’s PbR National Benchmarker, an award winning analysis tool supported by IPL and developed in conjunction with the NHS Information Centre. The tool is used throughout the NHS to drive local improvement as part of the audit programme. Prior to joining the Audit Commission, Howard was the Head of Performance and Information at a Primary Care Trust with an annual turnover of £1bn where he focused on hospital contract setting, monitoring and management. Colin RickardColin Rickard joined DataFlux UK Ltd as Managing Director in 2006, bringing over 15 years experience in the construction and implementation of customer systems in both the UK and US markets. Mr. Rickard’s key responsibility at DataFlux is to raise the company’s profile in both UK and Europe by developing DataFlux’s commercial prospects within this market and overseeing the Sales and Technical teams. Prior to this role he held the position of Head of Managed Services at Detica, a specialist IT consultancy. Within this role Mr. Rickard played a key role in the establishment of the cross industry counter Insurance Fraud Bureau and was responsible for leading projects for clients including Cable and Wireless and the Operational Risk Insurance Consortium. Before joining Detica, Mr. Rickard held a number of senior consulting positions at MDS Global Consulting, Cedar Group and Kognitio Knowledge Solutions. |
